<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 3\0 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING A <br />CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTION, IN THE AMOUNT OF $250.00, <br />TO THE DAVID L. SINGER MEMORIAL FOUNDATION; <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the David L. Singer Memorial Foundation is a charitable organization <br />providing social programs, events and activities to various groups and individuals; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the programs, events and activities provided enhance and improve the <br />lifestyle of these various groups and individuals; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the David L. Singer Memorial Foundation relies on charitable contributions <br />in order to provide these programs, events and activities; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City, understanding the value of providing these programs, events and <br />activities, wishes to make a contribution to the David L. Singer Memorial Foundation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to ~7.6 of the Sunny Isles Beach Municipal Charter affirmative <br />votes of four (4) members of the City Commission are required for all charitable contributions; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1 Authorization of Charitable Contribution. The City Manager is hereby authorized <br />to make a charitable contribution, in the amount of Two Hundred Fifty and 00/100 Dollars <br />($250.00), to the David L. Singer Memorial Foundation, Inc. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br />adoption. <br /> <br />Effective Date.
