<br />'.'\ ' <br /> <br />" Lutt Consulting, Inc. <br /> <br /> <br />Urban Flanning &- Design <br /> <br />RECEIVED <br /> <br />FEB 28 2001 <br /> <br />February 27, 2001 <br /> <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />Mr. Christopher Russo <br />City Manager <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />1 7070 Collins Avenue, Suite 250 <br />Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160 <br /> <br />Re: Consulting Services - Review of large Scale Projects. <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Russo, <br /> <br />In accordance with our discussion on Tuesday, February 13th, luft Consulting, Inc. is submitting <br />this proposed letter of agreement for consulting services to assist the City of Sunny Isles Beach in <br />the on-going review of large scale projects within the current RU-4A zoning district. <br />My services would include: <br /> <br />· Review of large scale development plans (principally within the RU-4A district) for <br />consistency with the parameters of the adopted Comprehensive Plan. This review, <br />however, would not replace the required review and determinations to be made by the <br />City Zoning Administrator as to certification of measurements and calculations for <br />compliance of plans with zoning measures (FAR, Setbacks, parking calculations, etc.). My <br />recommendations are to be considered advisory only. Final responsibility for the <br />Administration's interpretations and recommendations vis-a-vis the zoning code and <br />Comprehensive Plan rests with the Zoning Administrator and the Director of Planning and <br />Community Development. It is agreed that these services are considered an interim <br />measure to assist the City in its transition to full implementation of the Comprehensive <br />Plan and that the need for such services shall be reviewed after 90 days from the <br />execution of this agreement and shall be extended only upon mutual agreement of the <br />City administration and luft Consulting, Inc. <br /> <br />· Design review of said plans to provide recommendations to the administration and to the <br />Commission for modifications that will enhance the overall project design consistent with <br />the objectives of the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />· If necessary, testimony before the Commission or board reviews as a part of the approval <br />process to convey aspects of my review conclusions and to answer questions or discuss <br />options available in consideration of submitted plans. <br /> <br />My fees for the above-described services are as follows: <br /> <br />1900 Tigertail Avenue.
