<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001- 331 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A FOUR-THOUSAND <br />DOLLAR ($4,000.00) DONATION FROM COSCAN OCEAN POINT LLC., <br />TO BE UTILIZED FOR LANDSCAPING ALONG THE SOUTHERN <br />BOUNDARY IN THE OCEANFRONT PARK; PROVIDING FOR AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on April 6, 2001, Coscan Ocean Point L.L.c. Project Manager Leonard <br />O'Neill, proffered and pursuant to Resolution 00-Z-43 said donation for purchase and <br />installation of landscaping materials for the Landscape Easement between Ocean Point Beach <br />Club and the Oceanfront Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, specified landscape materials shall be mutually beneficial in acting as a <br />buffer between the properties while bolstering biodiversity and aesthetics in the Oceanfront Park; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, landscaping within the Easement shall be purchased, installed, and <br />maintained by the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said donation is in lieu of Coscan Ocean Point L.L.c. purchasing and <br />installing agreed upon species, as their suppliers were unable to produce desired specimen; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISELS BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section I. Acceptance of Donation. The City Commission hereby accepts the donation of <br />Four- Thousand Dollars ($4,000.00) from Coscan Ocean Point L.L.c., for the express purpose of <br />purchasing landscaping material as a buffer between said properties, as proffered in a letter dated <br />April 6, 2001 from Coscan Ocean Point L.L.C. Project Manager Leonard O'Neill. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authoritv of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br />things necessary to effectuate the landscaping. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Effective Date.
