<br />Section 3. Conducting the Elections <br />The City Clerk is authorized to utilize the services of the Miami-Dade County <br />Supervisor of Elections and his staff of officials for assistance in the conduct said General <br />Election. The Miami-Dade County Election Officials shall furnish the official returns for each <br />precinct to the City Clerk of the City of Sunny Isles Beach as soon as the ballots from all <br />precincts have been tabulated, and the City of Sunny Isles Beach Canvassing Board's <br />certification of the duly accepted results of said election shall be accepted by the City <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Section 4. Polling Places <br />That said polling places in the City of Sunny Isles Beach for said General Election <br />shall be as established by the Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections and his staff of <br />officials. All electors shall vote at the polling places and the voting precincts in which the <br />OFFICIAL REGISTRATION BOOKS show that the said electors reside. A list of the voting <br />precincts and the polling places therein (subject to change by the Miami-Dade County <br />Supervisor of Election, in accordance with the laws of Florida) is attached hereto as Exhibit <br />"A". <br /> <br />Section 5. Form of Ballot <br />The ballot for said General Election shall be printed in compliance with State law as <br />prepared by the Miami-Dade County Supervisor of Elections, and as approved by the City <br />Clerk as the Supervisor of Election for the City. <br /> <br />Section 6. Voter Registration <br />Registration of persons desiring to vote in said General Election shall be in accordance <br />with the general laws of the State of Florida governing voter registration. Qualified persons <br />may obtain registration forms to vote at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Suite 250, <br />17070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, 33160, Monday through Friday, except <br />legal holidays, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and at such other voter <br />registration centers and during such times as may be provided by the Miami-Dade County <br />Supervisor of Elections. Each person desiring to become a registered voter shall be <br />responsible for properly filling out the registration form and returning it to the Miami-Dade <br />County Elections Office. All completed registration forms must be received by the <br />Miami-Dade County Elections Office and clocked in no later than Monday, August 13,2001, <br />at 5:00 p.m., for the General Election (and no later than Monday, September 10,2001, at 5:00 <br />p.m. for a run-off election, if necessary) in order for a person to vote in said elections.
