<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001- .3..1..L <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AWARDING A BID TO <br />SHENANDOAH CONSTRUCTION, FOR THE CLEANING OF <br />STORMWATER DRAINS AND CATCH BASINS CITYWIDE, <br />APPROVING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SUNNY <br />ISLES BEACH AND THE BIDDER, IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />FIFTEEN THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED TWENTY DOLLARS <br />($15,820.00), ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS <br />NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE SAID AGREEMENT; <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach is in need of cleaning services of the <br />City's Stormwater drains and catch basins citywide; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach issued a Request for Proposals No. <br />01-08-01 for qualified companies capable of providing these services, which bids were <br />opened on August 31, 2001; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this City of Sunny Isles wishes to award the bid to Shenandoah <br />Construction and enter into an agreement with them. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Award of Bid. The City Commission hereby awards Bid No. 01-08-01 to <br />Shenandoah Construction. <br /> <br />Section 2. Aooroval of Contract. The Agreement between the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach and Shenandoah Construction for the cleaning of stormwater drains and catch <br />basins citywide, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", be, and the same, is hereby approved. <br /> <br />Section 3. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to <br />execute said Services Agreement, in the amount of Fifteen Thousand Eight Hundred <br />Twenty Dollars ($15,820.00), attached hereto as Exhibit "A", and do all things necessary <br />to effectuate the terms of this Consultant Agreement. <br /> <br />Section 4. <br />adoption. <br /> <br />Effective Date.
