<br />3.03 COMPACTION <br />Contractor shall compact and / or otherwise manipulate each layer offill using a vibratory compactor <br />such that a uniform compaction of not less than 100% of maximum dry density, per AASHTO T -180 <br />(Modified Proctor). <br /> <br />Where compaction fails to meet specified limits, Contractor shall rework, re-compact, and retest failed <br />areas. <br /> <br />3.04 FIELD QUALITY CONTROL <br />Provide passing density / moisture tests in accordance with Section 01452, testing schedule. <br /> <br />END OF SECTION <br /> <br />02722 - 2 <br />
