<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002- ~ l-: 9 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING <br />THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH PROPOSED AD <br />VALOREM TAX MILLAGE LEVY RATE AT 3.35 MILLS <br />PER ONE THOUSAND ($1,000) DOLLARS OF TAXABLE <br />ASSESSED VALUE WHICH IS 41 % GREATER THAN THE <br />"ROLLED BACK" RATE OF 2.37 MILLS, FOR FISCAL <br />YEAR 2002/2003; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser of Miami-Dade County, Florida, served upon the City of <br />Sunny Isles Beach a "Certification of 2002 Taxable Value"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on July 18,2002, the City Commission adopted Resolution No, 2002-460, <br />establishing the proposed ad valorem tax millage levy rate at 3.35 mills per One Thousand ($1,000) <br />Dollars of taxable assessed value, and pursuant to Section 200.065, F.S., the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach furnished the County Property Appraiser, the proposed millage rate, and the date, time and <br />place at which public hearings will be held to consider the proposed millage rate and tentative <br />budget. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. The proposed millage rate is hereby established as 3.35 per One Thousand ($1,000) <br />Dollars of assessed property value in the City of Sunny Isles Beach.
