<br />RESOLUTION NO. l002-11'~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. <br />1001..316; APPROVING CONTRACT AMENDMENT NO. 1 AND <br />SUPPLEMENTAL WORK ORDER TO CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />PARKING METER PURCHASE, INSTALLATION AND <br />MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT, DATED APRIL 20, 1001, BY AND <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH AND STROYNE <br />BROTHERS SOUTH, INC., IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED EIGHT <br />mOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED FIFTEEN DOLLARS AND EIGHTY-SIX <br />CENTS (58,415.86), ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS <br />NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE TERMS OF CONTRACT <br />AMENDMENT NO.1; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City awarded a contract to Stroyne Brothers South Inc., being the only <br />bidder for Bid No. 01-03-04 for the purchase, installation, and maintenance of parking meters, on <br />April 17, 2001 via Resolution No. 2001-326; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach wishes to purchase and install six new <br />parking meters, relocate and re-install thirty-one (31) existing parking meters, and install thirty- <br />seven (37) decorative posts along Atlantic Boulevard between 178th Street and 183fd Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to approve Contract Amendment No. 1 and Supplemental <br />Work Order to City of Sunny Isles Beach Parking Meter Purchase, Installation and Maintenance <br />Agreement, Dated April 20, 2001, by and between the City of Sunny Isles Beach and Stroyne <br />Brothers South, Inc., in an amount not to exceed $8,415.86, attached hereto as Exhibit "A". <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approval of Contr~t Amendment No.1 and Supplemental Work Order. Contract <br />Amendment No. 1 and Supplemental Work Order to City of Sunny Isles Beach Parking Meter <br />Purchase, Installation and Maintenance Agreement, Dated April 20, 2001, by and between the <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach and Stroyne Brothers South, Inc., in an amount not to exceed <br />$8,415.86, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", be, and the same, is hereby approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br />things necessary to effectuate the terms of Contract Amendment No.1. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br />adoption. <br /> <br />Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effectively immediately upon <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of November 2002. <br /> <br />
