<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003- 58G, <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING A HOST <br />SPONSORSHIP AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES <br />BEACH AND TEL-AIR INTERESTS, INC., AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />TO HOST THE MISS FLORIDA TEEN USA PAGEANT, IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($15,000.00); <br />AUTHORIZING THE MA YOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS <br />NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE TERMS OF THIS RESOLUTION: <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach is committed in promoting this beautiful <br />City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Tel-Air Interests, Inc., has invited the City of Sunny Isles Beach to be the <br />official host and location of the Miss Florida USA 2004 Pageant to be telecast in November, <br />2003, in the amount of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, being the Host City for the Pageant is mutually beneficial to our residents <br />and visitors, and will showcase the City in a family friendly environment on a local and <br />international level. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approval of Host Sponsorship Agreement. The City Commission hereby <br />approves the Host Sponsorship Agreement between the City and Tel-Air Interests, Inc., in the <br />amount of $15,000.00. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization of Mayor. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br />things necessary to effectuate the terms of this resolution. <br /> <br />Section 4. <br /> <br />Effective Date.
