<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003- .:; Cf 1 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING <br />CONCEPTUAL PLANS FOR THE 192ND STREET BEACH <br />ACCESS POINT, AS PREPARED BY O'LEARY DESIGN <br />ASSOCIA TES, P.A.; PROVIDING THE CITY MANAGER <br />WITH THE AUTHORITY TO DO ALL THINGS <br />NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE INTENT OF THIS <br />RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the 192nd Street Beach access point within the City of Sunny Isles Beach is <br />in need of new landscaping and other miscellaneous upgrades, in order that our residents and <br />visitors may better utilize it; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these upgrades will include items such as landscaping, dead tree/shrub <br />removal, soil/mulch, retrofit of the irrigation system and benches; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission has previously qualified O'Leary Design Associates <br />"O'Leary") to provide landscaping and related services to the City by Resolution No. 2001-338; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, O'Leary has prepared conceptual plans and now submits the conceptual <br />plan for City Commission approval. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approval of Conceptual Plans. The conceptual plan, as prepared by O'Leary <br />Design Associates, for the 192nd Street Beach access point, is hereby approved in concept. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br />things necessary to effectuate the intent of this resolution. <br /> <br />Section 3. Effective Date.
