<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003 - L./'3 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE <br />AND INSTALLATION OF BUS BENCHES AND TRASH <br />RECEPTACLES FROM REP SERVICES, INC., UNDER STATE OF <br />FLORIDA GOVERNMENT SNAPS II AGREEMENT, IN AN AMOUNT <br />OF $120,022.64, ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS <br />NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE TERMS OF THE AGREEMENT; <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach is in need of replacing the existing bus <br />benches and trash receptacles for the benefit and welfare of its citizens and visitors; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Rep Services, Inc. provided a quote under the State of Florida Government <br />SNAPS II Agreement No. 6502375-3, of One Hundred Twenty Thousand, Twenty Two Dollars <br />and Sixty-Four Cents ($120,022.64); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, these site amenities will greatly enhance the look of our City streets and <br />eliminate the potential hazard the deteriorating benches may cause, and in conjunction with that <br />effort the City wishes to contract with Rep Services, Inc., piggy-backing off from the State <br />Agreement, for the purchase and installation of new bus benches and matching trash receptacles, <br />designed with the City logo, in an amount of $120,022.64, attached hereto as Exhibit "A". <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approval of Agreement. The Agreement by and between the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach and Rep Services, Inc., for the purchase and installation of bus benches and trash <br />receptacles, in an amount of $120,022.64, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", be, and the same, is <br />hereby approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization of Mayor. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br />things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. <br /> <br />Section 4. <br /> <br />Effective Date.
