<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004- t.. ~ 8 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN ADDENDUM TO <br />AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES <br />BEACH AND ALTIUS, INC., FOR CONSULTING SERVICES FOR THE <br />DESIGN AND PRODUCTION OF BRANDING TO VARIOUS <br />MATERIALS, AUTOMATICALLY RENEWING THE AGREEMENT <br />EACH YEAR, ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE ADDENDUM AND DO ALL <br />THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE TERMS OF THE <br />ADDENDUM; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City staff has worked with Altius, Inc., to establish a "look," (branding) <br />which incorporates the City Seal with a wave logo; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been a concerted effort to apply branding to a variety of materials <br />including annual reports, the City's website, channel 20, stage banners and promotional items; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City entered into an agreement with Altius, Inc., in the amount of <br />$24,500.00 per fiscal year, on April 24, 2003 via Resolution No. 2003-541, and now wishes to <br />enter into an addendum to that agreement to provide the renewal of the agreement automatically <br />each year with Altius, Inc., attached hereto as Exhibit "A", for consulting services for the design <br />and production of branding to various materials. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approval of Addendum to Agreement. The Addendum to Agreement by and <br />between the City of Sunny Isles Beach and Altius, Inc., automatically renewing the Agreement <br />each year for consulting services for the design and production of branding to various materials, <br />attached hereto as Exhibit "A", be and the same, is hereby approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute <br />the Addendum to Agreement and do all things necessary to effectuate the terms of the Addendum <br />to Agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Effective Date.
