RESOLUTION NO. 2004 - (,t, s A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE SALE OF TWO VEHICLES TO ARIE STEIGER AUTO SALES, IN RESPONSE TO BID NO. 04-02-01 FOR THE SALE OF SURPLUS CITY VEHICLES, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF ELEVEN THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED, TWENTY- TWO DOLLARS ($11,322.00), A TT ACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE TERMS OF THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City issued Bid No. 04-02-01 for the sale of surplus City vehicles; and WHEREAS, Arie Steiger Auto Sales, was the sole respondent to said Bid, and bid on Two of the Five City vehicles; and WHEREAS, the City wishes to sell the two vehicles to Arie Steiger Auto Sales, for City Vehicle No. 9813, a 1998 Ford Explorer 4 x 4, Vin No. IFMZU34EOWUC42321 in an amount of $5,811.00; and for City Vehicle No. 98-07, a 1998 Ford E-150 Cargo Van, Vin No. IFTRE142XWHA85529 in an amount of $5,511.00, for a total amount of $11,322.00, attached hereto as Exhibit "A". NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approval of Sale. The sale of the two City surplus vehicles for City Vehicle No. 9813, a 1998 Ford Explorer 4 x 4, Vin No. IFMZU34EOWUC42321 in an amountof$5,811.00; and for City Vehicle No. 98-07, a 1998 Ford E-150 Cargo Van, Vin No. IFTRE142XWHA85529 in an amount of $5,511.00, for a total amount of $11,322.00, attached hereto as Exhibit "A", be, and the same, is hereby approved. Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all things necessary to effectuate the terms of this Resolution. Section 4. Effective Date.
