The North Miami Beach Optimist Little League program is offered to all residents in
the Northeast Miami-Dade area including Sunny Isles Beach as well as Golden Beach,Aventura, and
North Miami Beach.
The North Miami Beach Optimist Little League is a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation that relies
on donations, sponsorships, and fundraising events to help cover the expenses of league fees,
uniforms, equipment, coaches, and referees. It is a quality program that follows the guidelines set by
Little League Baseball's national organization. With our partnership, we assist in providing the
opportunity for a baseball program to the youth of Sunny Isles Beach. Donations such as these
allow the league to keep registration fees low to encourage participation by all regardless of
economic status. Scholarships are provided for children of families with economic hardships.
Agenda Item
Date
