<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006- 90? <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF THIRTY-NINE <br />THOUSAND DOLLARS ($39,000.00) TO 17200 COLLINS <br />AVENUE LTD., FOR THE PURCHASE AND <br />INSTALLATION OF ADDITIONAL FENCING AT THE <br />TOWN CENTER PARK; AUTHORIZING THE CITY <br />MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO <br />EFFECTUATE THE TERMS OF THIS RESOLUTION; <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach ("City") desires to purchase and install <br />additional fencing around the perimeter of the mangrove area within the Town Center Park for <br />the safety and welfare of its citizens and visitors; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Town Center Park was turned over to the City on Friday, October 21,2005 <br />and as such is the responsibility of the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the improvements are necessary to ensure the safety and welfare of Smmy <br />Isles Beach citizens and visitors. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorization of Payment. The City Commission hereby authorizes the payment <br />of Thirty-Nine Thousand Dollars ($39,000.00) for the purchase and installation of additional <br />fencing at the Town Center Parle <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br />things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Effective Date.
