At its regular meeting of April 11, 2006, the City Commission <br />adopted Resolution No. 2006-912, which appointed you to the Historic Preservation <br />Board. Please be advised that Board Members are governed by the Rules of Procedure <br />that govern the City Commission; Ordinance No(s). 2004-197 and 2004-214; and the <br />Sunshine and Public Records Laws and Financial Disclosure Requirements of the State <br />of Florida. Attached are copies of the affecting Sunny Isles Beach legislation and <br />information on Sunshine and Public Records Laws for your reference. <br /> <br />The Board meets periodically and ordinarily, the agenda is mailed to you one week <br />before the meeting. Board Members who miss three (3) consecutive meetings may be <br />removed from office. Therefore, if you are unable to attend a meeting, please call <br />Jane A. Hines, CMC, City Clerk, so that it can be considered an excused absence. <br /> <br />Board appointments are for a two-year term and may be renewed as often as desired. <br /> <br />If you wish to accept this appointment, please complete the attached Statement of <br />Financial Interests and return it to me by May 1, 2006.
