This year the Police Department implemented the <br />use of psychological exams as part of the recruitment process for Police Officers. Each exam is <br />approximately $250.00 and is given to the finalists along with a conditional offer of employment <br />based on a satisfactory passing of this exam. Also, this year, the Cultural and Human Services <br />Department has extended its youth programs which require us to conduct background checks via <br />FDLE on all volunteers and seasonal employees, The amount of temporary lifeguards has also <br />increased which requires both a complete medical screening as well as the background check via <br />FDLE. <br /> <br />5544 - Education/Tuition Reimbursement. This year we have had a high participation in this <br />program.
