This installation will be provided by Luke's Landscaping, Irrigation Division, 3000 N 28th <br />Terrace, Hollywood, FL. <br /> <br />REASONS: <br /> <br />The current method of irrigating plants in the Collins Avenue medians is weep pipe. This is <br />satisfactory for bushes but not for a flower bed. Overhead irrigation will not only cover the entire <br />bed, it will keep the plants themselves washed which is necessary for proper growth. As the flowers <br />are replaced with Impatiens in October the irrigation will be installed. <br /> <br />OTHER INFORMATION: <br /> <br />Funds for this project are available under budget code 10-539-5348. <br />
