<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach |ITB No. 16-09-01 16 <br /> <br />Section 3 <br />Scope of Services <br /> <br />3.1 BACKGROUND <br /> <br />The City's fleet of off road vehicles and watercraft consists of approximately 12 (up to 15) <br />ATV/UTV’s, and 3 watercraft. The goal of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Fleet Department is to <br />ensure their safe and economical operation by having an effective preventative maintenance <br />program in place and providing for general repairs. <br /> <br />The City has established minimum specifications, which include specific vehicle maintenance <br />requirements to assure the safe and economical operation of city fleet vehicles. The successful <br />repair facility shall possess appropriate facility, equipment, and professional staff with the skills and <br />experience needed to maintain the City's fleet in accordance with Manufacturer's recommended <br />specifications. The facility shall have the ability to perform quality work, as solely determined by <br />the City of Sunny Isles Beach, qualifying it to maintain the City's fleet as specified. <br /> <br />The selected repair facility will, from the onset, be held to a very high level of <br />performance and efficiency in maintaining the City's fleet. The contractor shall furnish all <br />necessary supervision, labor, tools and parts and supplies necessary to provide the service for the <br />City's fleet in accordance with Manufacturer's recommendations in order to mainta in factory <br />warranties and any extended warranties. <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Approximate number of off road vehicles in fleet by year Make and Model: <br /> <br />2016 Honda 700 (6) <br />2015 Honda 700 (6) <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Approximate number of watercraft in fle et by year Make and Model: <br /> <br />2011 Yamaha (2) <br />2016 Yamaha (1) <br /> <br />3.2 SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Preventative Maintenance (PM) - Scheduled Inspection of the vehicle based on either months <br />or usage hours, PM's are scheduled for either 6 months, or 50 hours (ATV’s UTV’s) or 100 hours <br />(watercraft), whichever comes first. Select vehicles due to their unique service are performed more <br />frequently. A PM consists of a visual inspection of the vehicle for damage or missing parts, <br />functional testing of components, lubrication, tire rotation (if applicable), and servicing as needed. <br />We average 2 PM's a year on the off road vehicles and watercraft. <br /> <br />The following should be performed:
