Vera, Assistant City Manager <br />Robert Solera, Community Development Director <br />Elena Del Campillo, Planning and Zoning Technician <br />Steven Belden, Planning Consultant <br /> <br />DATE: January 18, 2007 <br /> <br />RE: Millenium Plaza Uniform Sign Plan <br />18660 Collins Avenue <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />This Resolution is presented for your consideration and approval. <br /> <br />REASONS <br /> <br />Pursuant to Ordinance No. 2006-244 (commonly known as the Sign Code), adopted on February 16, <br />2006, multi-tenant shopping centers are required to submit a unifonn sign pIan for the approval of the <br />City Commission. Under the Sign Code, all signs in multi-tenant plazas must be uniformed in terms of <br />illumination, material, fabrication and sign area. Additionally, the signs must be uniformed in terms of <br />color. Millenium Plaza ("Applicant") has submitted the attached unifonn sign plan for the following <br />shopping plaza: <br /> <br />18660 Collins Avenue - MilIenium Plaza <br /> <br />(I) Suite 101 <br />(2) Suite 102 <br />(3) Suite 103 <br />(4) Suite 104 <br /> <br />(5) Suite 105 <br />(6) Suite 106 <br />(7) Suite 107 <br /> <br />Staff has reviewed the plans submitted and finds that the plans are in compliance with the Sign <br />Code.
