This <br />program intends to promote cultural understanding and stimulate economic development. <br /> <br />The City wishes to demonstrate its continuing support of Sister Cities International by adopting this <br />resolution approving a charitable contribution in the amount of$l,OOO to underwrite the Mayor's <br />Reception at the Sister Cities Annual Conference in Fort Lauderdale in July 2007. <br /> <br />Funding for this donation will be covered with funds from the City Commission's budget account <br />no. 511-10-5490. <br /> <br />I\b.b-ON <br />Agenda Item i 0 7 <br /> <br />Date ~ -I g- D 7 <br />
