<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2007-JJ.5.1 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br />OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN <br />AGREEMENT WITH BIS DIGITAL FOR THE PURCHASE <br />AND INSTALLATION OF DIGITAL CONFERENCE <br />RECORDING EQUIPMENT AND RELATED ACCESSORIES, <br />IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWELVE THOUSAND <br />ONE HUNDRED NINETY DOLLARS ($12,190.00), <br />ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AUTHORIZING <br />THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS <br />NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach is desirous of updating its meeting recording <br />equipment in the Commission Chambers, 1st Floor Meeting Room, and 4th Floor Conference <br />Room, from a cassette tape-based system to a digital recording system; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has received proposals from three (3) prospective vendors for the <br />provision of said digital recording system and accessories; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has determined that the proposal from BIS Digital ("BIS") is the most <br />responsive, responsible quote; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, BIS has submitted a proposal for the purchase and installation of digital <br />conference recording equipment with audio and visual recording capability for the Commission <br />Chambers and audio recording capability for the 1st Floor Meeting Room and 4th Floor <br />Conference Room, in an amount not to exceed Twelve Thousand One Hundred Ninety Dollars <br />($12,190.00), attached hereto as Exhibit "A"; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, BIS is the sole source vendor for the desired digital conference recording <br />system; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, BIS is qualified, willing, and able to provide the desired services in the <br />terms and conditions set forth in the attached Agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, funding is available for this purchase in the Fiscal Year 2006/2007 Budget. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approval of Agreement.
