Hines <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />Dear Ibis: <br /> <br />The City Commission wishes to promote the City of Sunny Isles Beach as a world-class <br />destination and demonstrate its commitment to this endeavor by providing the Sunny <br />Isles Beach Resort Association with funding to share in the cost of hiring a Public <br />Relations firm and staffIng a visitor center. <br /> <br />The City has committed $SO,OOO with the understanding that SIBRA is to use these <br />funds as follows: <br />. $30,000 (i.e. $2,SOO/mo.) for SIBRA to hire a Public Relations fIrm. <br />. $20,000 (i.e. $1,667/mo.) for staffing a visitor center in the Sunny Isles Beach <br />Government Center. <br /> <br />It is understood that SIBRA will hire a Public Relations firm and, in partnership with <br />the City, provide the fIrm with information and direction. SIBRA will keep the City <br />Commission informed of the PR fIrm's activities in promoting the City. <br /> <br />When the offIces on the first floor of the SIB Government Center are vacated, SIBRA <br />and the City will transition the space into a visitor center. As such time, the City will <br />provide funding for SIBRA to staff the center for it to be open to the public 30 hours <br />per week. <br /> <br />We look forward to our partnership in these matters.
