1 <br />t <br />II° <br />0 <br />u <br />0 <br />SECTION 00900 <br />Addendum No. 2 (April 25, 20071 <br />to <br />Contract documents <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />STATE ROAD 826 / SUNNY ISLES BOULEVARD PROJECT <br />CGA PROJECT NO. 03- 4122.D <br />CITY BID NO. 07 -03 -02 <br />To All Bidders: <br />Bidders for the above - referenced project shall take note of the following changes, <br />additions, deletions, clarifications, etc. to the Plans and Specifications, which in <br />accordance with the Contract Documents shall become a part of and have precedence <br />over anything shown or described otherwise. <br />IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: <br />1. Section 00300 -5 is to be replaced in its entirety. <br />2. In response to bidders RFI "S: <br />- RFI from Pre -bid Meeting: <br />1) What are the liquidated damages to be set at? $500 or $1,500. <br />Response: The liquidated damages are to be set at $1,500 as stated in Section <br />500 -2 Article 3.2. <br />2) Who will be responsible for the materials testing for the project? <br />Response: All testing shall be paid for by the Contractor as stated in Section <br />00800 -8 Article 13.03. <br />- RFI from Solo Construction: <br />3) In section 9.1 of the instruction to bidders, a bid security is mentioned. Is this <br />the same as the bid bond? <br />Response: Yes, the bid bond and the bid security are the same. Accompanying the <br />Bid is a certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of $5% of the bid <br />payable to the Owner as stated in Section 00300 -5 under Bid Security. <br />RFI from KMEC: <br />4) Did the Consultants ever coordinate the project with MDT? <br />Response: This is being verified with Marlin Engineering and will be answered on <br />a later addendum. <br />5) Has there been a design for a bus stop within the project limits, since the vision <br />is really to create a gateway to Sunny Isles Beach? <br />March 2007 00900 -I, 03- 4122.D <br />
