<br />* After 1 year of initially being maxed out, an employee will receive a lump'sum payment equivalent to the same
<br />percentage increase that the City Manager secures for general employees as authorized by the budgetary
<br />process, This lump sum payment will not be included to base salary, Subsequently after 1 year should the
<br />employee receive a calibrated step adjustment and remain maxed out, if the adjustment is less than the merit
<br />pay authorized for general employees, the employee will receive an additional lump sum payment in the amount
<br />of the difference,

<br />Note: The Pay Plan will be calibrated every 2 yrs using the same benchmark cities.

<br />Also, please know that the pay levels shown above are calibrated on a net pay basis which factors in
<br />base salary, shift differential, longevity, and COLA, Also factored in were deductions for insurance
<br />and retirement,
