Hines, CMC, City Clerk ~ A-~ <br /> <br />March 20, 2008 <br /> <br />HISTORIC PRESERVATION BOARD REAPPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City Commission approve the attached resolution reappomtmg <br />members to the Historic Preservation Board for the term of April 2008 to April 20 I O. <br /> <br />REASONS <br /> <br />The City Commission created the Historic Preservation Board through Ordinance No. 2004-197 <br />adopted on April 15, 2004, providing for standards and review for the preservation of historical <br />properties within the City, and through Ordinance No. 2004-214 adopted on September 22,2004 <br />adding two additional members to the Board. The Historic Preservation Board provides <br />recommendations to the City Commission regarding the designation of historic properties within <br />the boundaries of the City. <br /> <br />The Board Appointments are two-year terms, and the current members of the Board are as <br />follows: Chairperson: Joe Masters; Members: Shari Blank, Trina Duluc, Mark Glicksman, <br />Bonita Shoki, Phillip Chernoff, and Hassida "Casey" Gabor [Ellen Wynne is a Lifetime <br />Honorary Member].
