<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2008- I 2..L, 3 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO UTILIZE TIP <br />TOP DRY CLEANERS FOR DRY CLEANING SERVICES <br />FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT, IN AN AMOUNT NOT <br />TO EXCEED SIXTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS <br />($16,000.00); AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS <br />RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach Police Department is in need of dry cleaning <br />services for its Police uniforms, to maintain the appearance and image of the Police Department; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Tip Top Dry Cleaners, Inc. is the Police Department's current vendor and <br />the most responsive responsible bidder; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City being satisfied with the service provided by Tip Top Dry Cleaners, <br />approved the dry cleaning services on June 15, 2006 via Resolution No. 2006-929; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Chief of Police is now requesting to again get authorization to utilize Tip <br />Top Dry Cleaners, Inc. for dry cleaning services for the Police Department, in an amount not to <br />exceed Sixteen Thousand Dollars ($16,000.00) from budgeted funds. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Authorization of Chief of Police. The City Commission hereby authorizes the <br />Chief of Police to utilize Tip Top Dry Cleaners for dry cleaning services for the Police <br />Department, in a total amount not to exceed Sixteen Thousand Dollars ($16,000.00). <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br />things necessary to effectuate the terms of the Agreement. <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Effective Date.
