<br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />KEMP GROUP INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION <br />AGREEMENT CONTRACT NO. C0708-065 <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT ("Agreement") entered into this I g~ day of \Tur'\-e ~ 2008, <br />by and between the CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH (hereinafter referred as to "City"), a municipal <br />corporation of the State of Florida, and KEMP GROUP INTERNA TIONAL CORPORATION, a <br />Florida corporation authorized to do business in the State of Florida (hereinafter referred to as <br />"Contractor"). <br /> <br />RECIT ALS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach is in need of a contractor to provide school crossing <br />guards at several locations located within the City of Sunny Isles Beach ("Services"); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Contractor is a certified and insured company with the necessary experience to <br />provide the desired Services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Town of Davie, Florida issued Request for Bid No. B-06-025 and awarded a <br />contract to Contractor to provide such services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an agreement with Contractor, using the Town of <br />Davie's bid information, to provide the Services described in Attachment "A", attached hereto and made a <br />part hereof, subject to the terms and conditions contained herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the City's procurement code provisions, purchases made under state, <br />county or other governmental contracts, or competitive bids with other governmental agencies are exempt <br />from the City's competitive bidding procedures; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to contract with Contractor to provide the desired Services as more <br />particularly described in Attachment "B" for a total amount not to exceed One Hundred Twenty One <br />Thousand Dollars ($121,000.00). <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and the mutual covenants herein names, <br />the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br />TERMS <br /> <br />1. RECITALS: The recitals set forth above are hereby incorporated into this Agreement and made <br />a part hereof. <br /> <br />2. SERVICES: Contractor agrees to furnish all labor and materials in a good and workmanlike and <br />professional manner and to perform the Services designated in Attachments "A" and "B" attached hereto, <br />which are incorporated herein by reference.
