<br />-- <br /> <br /> <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br /> <br />City Commission Agenda <br />18070 Collins Avenue, <br />Sunny Isle Beach, FL 33160 <br />(305) 947-0606 Phone (305) 949-3113 Fax <br /> <br />AGENDA BILL <br /> <br />REQUESTED ACTION <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City Commission consider a resolution to enter into an Interlocal <br />Agreement with Miami-Dade County Transit Agency to pass through Federal Transit Administration <br />(FfA) 5307 the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding in substantially the same form as <br />the attached agreement. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />Miami-Dade Transit is a political subdivision of the State of Florida and thereby is the applicant for <br />federal stimulus money through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. The <br />City applied through the County for the purchase of two (2) shuttle buses to replace / expand the <br />shuttle bus fleet to enhance the transportation services provided to City residents and visitors in an <br />amount not to exceed $202,000.
