Furnish all materials, labor, equipment and incidentals required to make <br />all joints tight in the concrete as detailed on the Drawings and as specified <br />herein. <br /> <br />1.02 SUBMITTALS <br /> <br />A. Submit shop drawings showing placement of forms, form joints major <br />inserts and blockouts in accordance with Section 01340. <br /> <br />1.03 RELATED WORK <br /> <br />A. Section 03300: Cast-In-Place Concrete <br /> <br />B. Section 03350: Concrete Finishes <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.01 EXPANSION JOINTS - FLOOR <br /> <br />A. Floor expansion joints shall be types UX-FIOO and UX-JIOO 1-inch joint <br />systems as manufactured by Metraflex, Mercer, EBAA Iron or approved <br />substitution. <br /> <br />B. Retainers shall be extruded aluminum alloy 6063-T5. Aluminum retainers <br />shall be chemically treated to prepare surfaces for complete adhesion of <br />the sealant. <br /> <br />C. Sealant shall be an elastomeric material capable of allowing <br />multi-directional movement while maintaining cohesion and adhesion <br />capabilities. The sealant shall have a maximum hardness of Shore A25 <br />with tensile strength and elongation to meet ASTM D412. The sealant <br />shall perform between temperatures of -20AF and 150AF. Moisture vapor <br />transmission shall meet ASTM C355. <br /> <br />D. The joint assembly shall be capable of a minimum of 50 percent <br />movement in any direction from the normal position. <br /> <br />E.
