.

.

.

City of Orlando Government Center Parking Garage
Orlando, Florida

The Administration Parking Garage is a six level structure,
configured for 860 parking spaces with a total area of more than
600,000 square feet. Three tenant office spaces on the first level
will house the County Tag Agency, The Downtown Development
Board and administrative offices for the City's Parking agency

The facility was designed to appear as a civic building and
not a parking structure in an effort to be a "good neighbor" in
the downtown environment. Twelve large banner areas
are integrated within the brick relief facade, which will allow
the structure to display current and future community events
and interests.

Services: Master planning, architecture

No. of Cars: 860 cars, 6 levels

City of Fort Myers Downtown Parking Garage
Fort Myers, Florida

The primary focus of this structure is to serve the Harborside
Convention Center and the new U.S. Courthouse and Federal
Office Building in downtown Ft. Myers. An added component
is the addition of retail shops on the ground level with a
space-frame lobby and a floating stairvvay, which acts as a
sculptural element. The lobby faces the downtown district,
across from the Federal Courthouse (also designed by Spillis
Candela DMJM). Anchoring the corner of First Street and
Monroe Avenue, and as an additional design element to increase
facade interest, a giant screen has been incorporated into the
full facade for graphic displays.

Services: Architectural design, structural engineering, MEP
engineering, civil engineering

---. The garage constitutes Phase I of a two
phase Center for the Humanities. The parking garage utilizes a
precast concrete structural system and skin.

Services: Architecture, engineering

No. of Cars: 750 cars, 5 levels
