<br />ORDINANCE NO. 98- 2.,J,p <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, <br />AMENDING SECTION 5 OF ORDINANCE 98-18 ESTABLISHING INTERIM <br />PARKS AND RECREATION IMPACT FEES SCHEDULE; PROVIDING FOR AN <br />AMENDED IMPACT FEE SCHEDULE; PROVIDING FOR APPLICABn...ITY; <br />PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS; PROVIDING <br />FOR SEVERABn...ITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance 98-18 establishing an interim parks and <br />recreation impact fee ordinance based upon Miami-Dade County's fee schedule; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has learned that Miami-Dade County amended its fee schedule and the <br />City wishes to conform its fee schedule to that of the County's. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY <br />ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Amendment of Impact Fee Schedule. <br /> <br />Section 5 of Ordinance 97-18 is hereby amended to provide as follows; <br /> <br />"Any person requesting a Building Permit for Residential Development Activity shall pay the <br /> <br />impact fee derived from, and identical to, Section 33H-8 of the Code of Miami-Dade County, District <br /> <br />1 (of which the City of Sunny Isles Beach is part)as amended, as follows: <br /> <br />IMPACT FEE SCHEDULEl <br /> <br />District single Family Detaebed <br /> <br />Multi.Family - <br />including condominiwn &. hotel apartment <br /> <br />Townhouse <br /> <br />City of <br />Sunny <br />Isles <br />Beach <br /> <br />$1,453.40 <br /> <br />$741.75 <br /> <br />$1,247.01 <br /> <br />In addition to the Fee as set forth above, each Feepayer shall pay to the City a non-refundable general <br /> <br />1 For a more detailed explanation of the computation oftbis impact fee schedule, see <br />Section 33H of the Metropolitan Dade County Code, under which the City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />currently operates pursuant to the Charter. <br /> <br />AmeIldina PaJb.l: Roc.
