b. Except for roads owned by the Florida Department of Transportation, there is hereby established municipal speed limits for local roads within the corporate limits of the City of Sunny Isles Beach as follows: (1) A speed limit of 15 miles per hour in any alley within the limits of the City; (2) A speed limit of 20 miles per hour on all residential streets and avenues not otherwise specifically prescribed herein; (3) On all other City (as opposed to state) streets within the limits of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, the speed limit shall be designated by the City Manager by sign. Section 4. Severability. The provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be severable and if any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance shall for any reason be held to be invalid or unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining sections, sentences, clauses and phrases of this Ordinance but they shall remain in effect, it being the legislative intent that this Ordinance shall stand notwithstanding the invalidity of any part. Section 5. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be, and the same, are hereby repealed. Section 6. Inclusion in the Code. It is the intention of the City Commission and it is hereby ordained that the provisions of this Ordinance be included and incorporated into the Code of Ordinances of the City of Sunny Isles Beach as an addition thereto and the sections of this Ordinance may be renumbered to conform to any uniformed numbering system. Section 7. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall become effective 10 days after adoption on second reading. PASSED AND ADOPTED on first reading the 11- ik day of O~~ 2001.
