<br />ORDINANCE NO. 2004 . jjJ, <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE <br />NUMBERS 2000-110 AND 2003-166; ADOPTING A REVISED FEE <br />SCHEDULE FOR THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT, ATTACHED AS <br />EXHIBIT "A"; PROVIDING THE CITY MANAGER WITH THE <br />AUTHORITY TO REVIEW ANNUALLY ALL BUILDING <br />DEPARTMENT FEES; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by Ordinance Numbers 2000-110 and 2003-166, the City Commission <br />adopted a fee schedule for the Building Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has the authority to review all Building Department <br />fees to determine if an adjustment to the fee schedule should be recommended to the City <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on in-depth review of the fee schedule, the City Manager is <br />recommending an adjustment to the fee schedule as reflected in Exhibit "A", amending <br />Ordinance Numbers 2000-110 and 2003-166. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Adoption of Revised Fee Schedule. The revised building fee schedule, <br />attached hereto as Exhibit "A" is hereby adopted for the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authority of City Manager. The City Manager and/or his designee are hereby <br />directed to annually review the Building Department Fee Schedule to determine if an <br />adjustment to the fee schedule should be recommended to the City Commission. <br /> <br />Section 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall become effective ten (10) days after <br />adoption upon second reading. <br /> <br />PASSED and ADOPTED on First Reading the 18th day of March, 2004 <br /> <br />PASSED and ADOPTED on Second Reading this lS~ay of ~"2004 <br /> <br />
