All fees collected pursuant hereto shall be set aside to offset the cost of computer system purchases or technology expenditures within the building department. 12. PRE-SUBMITAL REVIEW FEES A fee of $52.00 per hour will be assessed for Building, Electrical, and Mechanical, Plumbing and Zoning review when the customer elects to submit plans for pre-submittal review. The regular $115.00 per hour fee will be charged for structural and landscaping pre-submittal review. Refer to the Professional Fee Ordinance. 13. STRUCTURAL ENGINEER PLAN REVIEW A fee of $115.00 per hour will be assessed for plan reVIew for all new construction and alteration/repair that involve structural review. 14. LANDSCAPING ARCHITECTUAL REVIEW The regular $115.00 per hour fee will be charged for landscaping review. B. BUIWING PERMIT FEES Fees listed in Subsection (B) include only building permit fees and do not include fees for plumbing, electrical, and mechanical fees which are listed in the following sections: 1. "UP-FRONT" PROCESSING FEE When the building permit application is received for the construction of a new Single Family Residence or Duplex, the applicant shall pay an "up-front" processing fee equal to $0.15 for each square foot or fractional part thereof, or $0.02 per dollar in estimated value or fractional part when square footage does not apply. When a building permit application is received for a commercial project, the applicant shall pay an "up-front" processing fee equal to $4.60 per 100 square feet or fractional part or $0.75 for each $100.00 of estimated value or fractional part thereof. This processing fee is not refundable, but shall be credited toward the final building permit fee. PAGE 5 OF 29
