Window sign (temporary). <br /> <br />(I) Approvals necessary: City Manager or designee. <br />(2) Maximum number; one per establishment, <br />(3) Maximum sign area: four square feet. fifteen twenty percent (20%) of total area of all <br />windows on the elevation where sign is to be located. or ten square feet. whichever is <br />greater. The calculation of the permitted sign area shall exclude the address. hours of <br />operation and licensing information which mav be displayed on either the window or <br />the door. but not both. <br />(4) Illumination: prohibited. <br />(5) Design standards: All window signs must be furnished in a professional manner and <br />professionallv designed. Perimeter borders. stripes and bonding are permitted but will <br />count towards the calculation of window sign area. Severability. The provisions of this Ordinance are declared to be severable and if <br />any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance shall for any reason be held to be invalid <br />or unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining sections, <br />sentences, clause, and phrases of this Ordinance but they shall remain in effect, it being thc <br />legislative intent that this Ordinance shall stand notwithstanding the invalidity of any part. <br /> <br />Section 6. Inclusion in the Code.
