Solera, Community Development Director <br /> <br />June 19,2008 <br /> <br />Amendment to Section 256 Vehicles and Traffic <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City Commission approves the attached Ordinance amending the <br />Vehicles and Traffic Section <br /> <br />REASONS: <br /> <br />The Community Development Department in response to requests from residents, is proposing <br />an amendment to the existing Code that would allow the parking of Commercial vehicles / <br />Recreational equipment under the William Lehman Bridge with the following payment schedule: <br /> <br />Tvpe of Fee Amount of the Fee Comments <br />Aoolication Fee $75.00 annually (fiscal year) Administrative Fee <br />Per vehicle fee oer month $2.50 ner foot lenQth of vehicle <br />Transfer Fee $25.00 per permit <br />Resident only Parking Permit $50.00 per month <br /> <br />This benefit will provide a relief for those citizens with this type of equipment, since various <br />associations do not allow the parking of these vehicles within their premises.
