<br />ORDINANCE NO. 2010 - 3S.1 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, <br />FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 156 OF THE SUNNY ISLES <br />BEACH CODE ENTITLED "FEES, MISCELLANEOUS"; ADOPTING <br />A REVISED FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT, <br />A TT ACHED AS EXHIBIT "A"; PROVIDING THE CITY MANAGER <br />WITH THE AUTHORITY TO REVIEW ANNUALLY ALL <br />BUILDING DEPARTMENT FEES; PROVIDING FOR REPEALER; <br />PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR <br />CODIFICATION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by Section 156-1 of the Code of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, the City <br />Commission adopted a fee schedule for the Building Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has the authority to review all Building Department <br />fees to determine if an adjustment to the fee schedule should be recommended to the City <br />Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on in-depth review of the fee schedule, City Manager is <br />recommending an adjustment to the fee schedule as reflected in Exhibit "A", amending <br />Chapter 156 of the Sunny Isles Beach Code, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Adoption of Revised Fee Schedule. The revised building fee schedule, <br />attached hereto as Exhibit "A" is hereby adopted for the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authoritv of City Manager. The City Manager and/or his designee are hereby <br />directed to annually review the Building Department Fee Schedule to determine if an <br />adjustment to the fee schedule should be recommended to the City Commission. <br /> <br />Section 3. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall become effective ten (10) days after <br />adoption upon second reading. <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br />
