Vera, Assitant City Manager/Service <br /> <br />DATE: <br /> <br />10/1412010 <br /> <br />RE: <br /> <br />Construction of Docks <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br /> <br />It is recommended that the City Commission approves this ordinance. <br /> <br />REASONS: <br /> <br />We are asking the Commission to amend Section 265-45 of the Land <br />Development Regulations relating to the construction of docks to reflect the <br />requirements that are already established in the County's codes governing the <br />construction of docks. <br /> <br />The standards setforth under this amendment will provide the regulations required <br />to construct a dock. Staff has provided graphic that will be incorporated into the code to <br />make it user friendly. The amendment also provides dimensions of the canal areas <br />within the City which will assist in the construction of the dock. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />. LP A Resolution <br />.
