<br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS NO. 10-04-02 <br /> <br />PROFESSIONAL GENERAL ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES <br /> <br />1.1 INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />Pursuant to the Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act, Section 287.055, Florida Statutes, <br />("CCNA") the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, (the "City") a municipality located in Miami- <br />Dade County, Florida, requests qualified professional general architectural service firms <br />("applicants") to submit letters of interest and statements of qualifications and experience, <br />including Standard Forms 254 and 255, for on-call services to the City. <br /> <br />The chosen applicants will provides these services on a non-exclusive basis. The City does not <br />guarantee that any or all of the services identified in this Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") will <br />be assigned to the chosen applicants during the term of their agreements. <br /> <br />1.2 DATE AND TIME OF SUBMITTAL <br /> <br />Submittals must be received by the City Clerk's Office by the date and time stated in the Notice <br />to Architects at the Sunny Isles Beach Government Center, First Floor Meeting Room, 18070 <br />Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160. <br /> <br />1.3 ELIGIBILITY <br /> <br />In addition to the other requirements stated in this document, to be eligible to respond to this <br />RFQ, the applicants must have successfully provided within the past five years services similar <br />to those outlined in Section 1.5 of this RFQ. Each applicant shall meet all legal, technical, and <br />professional requirements for providing the requested services. <br /> <br />The chosen applicants shall furnish such additional information as the City may reasonably <br />require. This includes information that indicates financial resources as well as the ability to <br />provide and maintain the requested services. <br /> <br />1.4 RESERVATION OF RIGHTS <br /> <br />While pursuing this RFQ process, the City reserves the right to <br /> <br />· accept any or all responses, and the right, in its sole discretion, to accept the applicants it <br />considers most favorable to the City's interests <br />· reject any and all qualifications and to seek new qualifications when such a procedure is <br />reasonably in the best interest of the City <br />· investigate the financial capability, intcgrity, experience, and quality of performance of <br />each applicants, including officers, principals, senior management, and supervisors, as <br />well as staff identified in the response to RFQ <br />
