Firm Profile Zyscovich Architects is pleased to submit this qualifications package to the City of Sunny Isles Beach in response to the RFQ for Professional Architectural Services. Through our experience and knowledge of Sunny Isles Beach and it's regulating agencies we are confident that we can provide guidance and assistance and "be there" for the City as it grows and flourishes. Zyscovich Architects is an integrated urban design, architecture and interior design firm headquartered in downtown Miami. With over 90 professionals on staff, Zyscovich is one of the largest design firms in South Florida. The size of the firm facilitates and guarantees availability during continuing contracts as the projects arise. Our project philosophy is to be 100% responsive to every client and every project large or small. With our close proximity to the City of Sunny Isles, we are ready and available to meet with City staff or visit a project site as the project should require. Zyscovich has provided design services for many municipalities and public agencies within the State of Florida including the cities of Miami Beach, Miami, Hollywood, West Palm Beach, Jacksonville, Coral Gables, Coral Springs, Coconut Creek, Doral and Pembroke Pines. Our team is known for providing creative design solutions to challenging projects. Our projects include office facilities, government facilities, parks, mixed-use projects in urban settings, hospitality and entertainment venues, educational facilities, residential and airport facilities. Over the past 32 years, the firm has worked on a vast variety of projects for municipalities- some of these include two Architectural Continuing Contracts of the City of Miami, one Continuing Contract for Miami-Dade County and 1 Continuing Contract for the School Board of Palm Beach County. We are currently working on a continuing contract for master planning services for the City of Ocoee and have provided Master Planning Services for the First Sustainable Design for a Town Center for the City of Coconut Creek, FL. Recent architectural and interior design projects include over 379,000 SF of commercial and mixed use space for Park Square at Doral and the consolidation of 7 county departments into one integrated facility for Broward County. Like the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Zyscovich also believes in doing things quickly and efficiently. Our Team has a long and successful history of working with public agencies. We have found that early and continuous agreement among stakeholders and staff on the design of a project is key to preventing schedule delays. Therefore, we work diligently at completing the design processes as early as possible so that production of Construction Documents is free of impediments. We recognize the urgent necessity for timely responses and adherence to schedule submissions. We utilize project management software to track all design and construction activities and to generate frequent reports to ensure timely response to any and all issues. We also update and track project schedules with graphic scheduling software. This process is critical to our success in designing and permitting facilities consistently on or ahead of schedule. Zyscovich is equally as aware of staying on budget and we pride ourselves in designing facilities that meet our clients' established budget requirements.
