(B&A) is pleased to respond to the Request for Qualifications presented <br />by the City of Sunny Isles Beach to provide Professional Engineering Services on the above mentioned <br />project. As requested, we are submitting one original and four additional complete copies that include <br />the documentation specified. All copies are unbound, as directed in the pre-submittal conference. <br /> <br />B&A is excited about the opportunity of being able to present our qualifications to the City of Sunny <br />Isles Beach. We are proposing Frantz L. Tassy, P.E. as the project manager for this project. Mr. Tassy is a <br />Transportation Design Engineer with over 15 years of experience working on various roadway and drainage <br />design improvement projects specifically for Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Miami-Dade <br />County Public Works (MDCPW), and with numerous local municipalities. <br /> <br />Mr. Tassy will receive assistance from Mr. Jack Young, P.E., who has 39 years of experience in Civil <br />Engineering related projects. He has worked as lead project manager on numerous projects ranging from <br />minor drainage improvement projects to full master plans for water, sewer, and storm drainage. Leading <br />our effort in landscape architecture will be Mr. Chris Cawley, RLA, who has over 11 years of experience <br />in designing streetscape improvement projects. We have an in-house public information group which <br />is led by Ms. Tere Garcia who has over 25 years of experience organizing and conducting these events, <br />primarily with FOOT and Miami-Dade Expressway Authority. Mr. Tony Hernandez, P.E., with over 20 years of <br />experience in Construction Engineering and Inspection (CE&I), will be available to provide this important <br />service to the City after design is completed and construction commences. <br /> <br />B&A will be pursuing the Civil Engineering work that includes Landscape Architecture, Construction <br />Management, Construction Inspection, General Design Work, Preparation of Complete Construction <br />Contract Plans, Public Involvement, Post Design Services, and Bid Administration. <br /> <br />In conclusion, we believe we have the best project manager and group of workers for this contract. <br />All of the proposed individuals are located in our corporate office in Miami so close coordination can <br />be maintained throughout the duration of the task.
