Trump Royale, Sonesta and Palace <br /> <br />ApPROACH <br />Coastal Systems has established working relationships with several local counties and municipalities. <br />Multiple contracts have been awarded for civil, coastal, and waterfront engineering as well as <br />environmental permitting from the following public sector: <br /> <br />. Village of Key Biscayne <br />. Village of Bal Harbour <br />. City of Miami <br />. City of Miami Beach <br />. Miami-Dade County DERM <br />. Miami-Dade County Seaport <br /> <br />The Coastal Systems team will utilize project management and delivery methods for the City of Sunny <br />Isles that have been successful with other local municipalities over the years. These strategies have <br />included the following: <br /> <br />. Define appropriate scope of services and project implementation plan with schedule. <br />. Conduct Project Kick-off meeting to ensure the City's requirements are identified in the early stages <br />of the project. <br />. Begin the environmental permit application process, if required, as quickly as possible. <br />. Maintain open communication with regular updates to the City. <br />. Involve the City in all agency negotiations throughout the permit process to ensure that <br />City staff hears the agency concerns first-hand. <br />. Prepare Design Development and Construction Documents as the permitting requirements are being <br />confirmed and processed. <br />. Attend City Commission Meetings if necessary to assist City staff with updates on project schedule <br />and implementation. <br />. Assist the City in compiling construction documents to account for the special requirements of the <br />project. <br />. Assist the City in the bidding process and reviewing bids to select a qualified contractor. <br />. Assist the City in providing construction administration to ensure the project is completed in <br />accordance with the plans, specifications and permits. <br /> <br />REPRESENTA TIVE PROJECT EXPERIENCE <br />The following project summaries outline Coastal Systems' relevant experience for this contract. Detailed <br />specific project experience with contact information is included in the Standard Form 330's. <br /> <br />Sunny Isles Shoreline Stabilization Study, Sunny Isles, Florida <br />Coastal Systems conducted an analysis of coastal processes at Sunny Isles Beach to provide <br />recommendations for future beach management. Long term and storm-induced beach erosion along the <br />2.5 miles of City of Sunny Isles Beach requires frequent and costly maintenance with beach nourishment. <br />Beach compatible sand sources in Florida are diminishing, and long term stabilization of hot spot areas <br /> <br />Corpofdte Office: 464 South Dixie Highway.
