<br />For a number of years, Calvin Giordano &
<br />Associates, Inc. (CGA) has the honor of
<br />currently providing professional consulting
<br />services to the City of Sunny Isles Beach. It is
<br />our intent to continue and build upon that
<br />relationship by providing enhanced
<br />responsiveness on any and all projects and
<br />issues presented by the City.
<br />
<br />Douglas Taylor, PE will act as project
<br />manager, and client contact for all projects
<br />and tasks resulting from this contract. Mr.
<br />Taylor has over 26 years of experience in
<br />dealing with civil engineering projects. For
<br />20 of those years, he has served as a project
<br />manager on projects that have included
<br />engineering, surveying, landscape
<br />architecture, planning, and construction
<br />management. In addition, for the past 17
<br />years he has managed offices, departments,
<br />and divisions, and served as primary client
<br />contact for many public clients.

<br />CGA is a multi-disciplinary firm that has been
<br />located in South Florida for over seventy
<br />(70) years. The company has grown from a
<br />small, two-person surveying firm to
<br />approximately two hundred (200)
<br />employees, providing a broad range of
<br />services, including civil & electrical
<br />engineering, landscape architecture,
<br />planning, surveying, geographic information
<br />systems (GIS), transportation engineering,
<br />environmental services, construction
<br />management, indoor air quality, and
<br />emergency management.

<br />Since its inception, CGA has served as a
<br />professional consultant to various
<br />
<br />municipalities throughout South Florida, including
<br />the Cities of, Sunny Isles Beach, Dania Beach, North
<br />Lauderdale, North Miami Beach, Pembroke Pines,
<br />Riviera Beach, Surfside, Bay Harbor Islands and
<br />Weston, many of which have been repeated clients
<br />for more than ten (10) years.

<br />If selected, CGA's Fort Lauderdale office located at
<br />1800 Eller Drive, Suite 600, Fort Lauderdale, Florida
<br />33316 will be the responsible office for this contract.

<br />Based on the RFQ, CGA proposes to perfD rm the
<br />following civil engineering related tasks for the City
<br />of Sunny Isles Beach:

<br />General civil design work, creation of construction
<br />contract plans and special provisions, post design
<br />services, bid administration, constructio n
<br />management, construction inspection, traffic,
<br />electrical, biological resources environmental,
<br />hurricane recovery and debris monitoring,
<br />landscape architecture, survey, and public
<br />involvement.
