<br />Structural design of high rise and low rise buildings including all components; girders, frames,
<br />trusses, arches, foundations and metal structures. Advanced design techniques for reinforced concrete
<br />members and structures, such as pre-stressed concrete beams and slabs, flat plates, hollow slabs,
<br />folded plates, systems and shells, building frame analysis for wind and storm surge. As principal,
<br />directed the redesign and reconstruction of parking garages at MIA, vehicular bridges, and railroad
<br />spur relocation. Special consultant on Skyway Bridge in Tampa and designer of highway bridges for
<br />1-95 at all grade separations in Broward County between SR-84 and Oakland Park Blvd.

<br />HIGHWAYS & TRAFFIC ENGINEERING:

<br />Planning, design and contract administration of construction for major materials, limited access roads,
<br />highways and bridges. Wide experience in construction inspection and construction administration.
<br />Original designer of 1-95 from State Road 84 to Oakland Park Boulevard including setting profile
<br />grade; super elevated roadways 1-75 in Georgia, 1- lOin north Florida. Engineer-of-Record for the
<br />original entrance roadway system to the MIA including Central Boulevard, upper level roadway deck,
<br />bridges, Bus Lanes, taxi holding, high mast lighting, toll booths, water; sewer; drainage; traffic
<br />control, signage; and security systems. Adjunct Professor teaching highways design at FlU for
<br />engineering students in the 1970's.
