We have grown organically from a 1-person firm in <br />1998 to a current strength of seven. Besides inspection services, we also provide geotechnical <br />engineering and construction materials testing services. We are accredited by the Construction <br />Materials Engineering Council (CMEC). Our firm is an "S" Corp. and is <br />owned fully (100%) by our principal, Mr. R. N. Sailappan, P.E. We believe this is unique, since most firms <br />take on MBE firms as sub-consultants, whereas in our case, the principal firm itself is a certified <br />MBE firm with a proven track record. <br /> <br />We have provided threshold inspection services for numerous projects such as Sun Coast High <br />School in Riviera Beach, K. C. Wright Building (post hurricane repairs) in Ft. Lauderdale, <br />Jupiter Christian School in Jupiter, etc. We have also provided construction materials testing <br />for a similar parking garage at One Charter Place in Coral Springs. Our firm is also accredited <br />by the Construction Materials Engineering Council (CMEC). Our vast knowledge, experience, <br />familiarity with the Florida Building Code and similar projects will enable us to provide superior, <br />efficient and cost effective inspection services to the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />Our current work load is such that we are operating at about 70% of our capacity. Hence we <br />can staff the subject project without adverse impacts to our other ongoing projects. Our firm is <br />fully licensed and maintains the requisite insurance coverage for handling such projects. <br /> <br />QuEST has never failed to complete any work assigned to us. We have also never been <br />terminated from a contract. We are fully staffed to handle the work we are bidding on this <br />project.
