The City has experienced tremendous growth since its official incorporation in 1997. This explosive growth comes with a price. The City has to adapt to its ever-growing populations and tax base to provide quality services for its residents. Founded in 1960, PBS&J has also experienced explosive growth in its 49 years. Founded by four engineers, the company has grown to 3,800 employees. At PBS&J, we understand the need to adapt to a quickly changing size and demographic. It is clear to us that the City is deeply rooted in its commitment to offering quality service in a pleasant environment. The City's government center is a beautiful example of the standard of the City's quality. The landscaping incorporated into the median at Collins A venue and the Lehman Causeway exits are great examples of softening an otherwise busy street with simple landscaping. The construction of the Heritage Park Parking Garage is another step in providing residents with quality services and improving the City's environment. We have reviewed the plans for this building and feel that we are suited to provide the required threshold inspections for this project. These inspections are one of the major steps to guarantee that the structure's quality is never compromised. I will serve as the proposed project manager and threshold inspector and have over eight years of experience as a threshold inspector performing inspections for structures I have designed as well as those designed by others. Assisting me will be our proposed senior structural engineer, Summy Cabrera, MS, PEe Ms. Cabrera has also designed threshold buildings in the past as well as assisted in inspections of such. She served as a structural engineer for the City of Sunny Isles Beach's government center during the initial planning stages about nine years ago while she was employed by Spillis Candela DMJM.
