<br />of over 20 sugar farms as part of the Everglades Forever
<br />Act. Once assessment activities were completed, ~Ir.
<br />Kramer formulatcd a remedial strategy that \vould allow
<br />the state to grant a SRCO. Contaminants of Concern at
<br />the sitcs included arscnic, chromium, Icad, pctroleum
<br />hydrocarbons and pesticides. All farms were assessed
<br />and remediated within the proposed schedule and
<br />budget.

<br />Project Engineer Downtown Orlando Chlorinated
<br />Solvent Project: Project engineer for the constmction
<br />of a soh-ent remediation s\'stem in dO\vntO\vn Orlando.
<br />Responsibilities included development/ certification of a
<br />~IOT, roadway replacement design and construction,
<br />coordination with FOOT & City of Orlando,
<br />supetTising and dirccting 4,000 fcct of dircctional
<br />drilling, procurement of a below grade railroad crossing
<br />pcrmit, ,'ault layout and constmction, pipe fusing,
<br />equipment selection and procurement and system layout.
<br />Coordinated all drilling activities and utility conflicts.
<br />Pcrformed systcm operational testing, which includcd
<br />PLC controlled VFD pump and motors, air strippcr
<br />modification and startup testing.

<br />Project Manager/Engineer, FDOT Sites,
<br />Jacksonville, FL: ~Ir. Kramcr sctTed as projcct
<br />manager and engineer for petroleum-impacted sites in
<br />the FOOT 2 right of way. He designed remedial
<br />systems that incorporated groundwater recovery, air
<br />sparge injcction/vacuum extraction, HOPE barrier liner
<br />installation, horizontal rccovery wells and bio-piles. He
<br />supelTised construction of remedial systems and wrote
<br />RAPs summarizing the remedial design and supervised
<br />constmction of the remedial systems. Mr. Kramer's
<br />work for the District also includes general civil
<br />construction work, which was used during the
<br />demolition of the Duvall Street Bridge.

<br />Project Manager/Engineer, FDOT District I
<br />EMO: tvIr. Kramer was responsible for identifying
<br />potential environmental impacts to roadway activities.
<br />Once potential impacts to roadway work were identified,
<br />Mr. Kramer formulated an investigative plan and
<br />coordinated implementation of the work. During his
<br />
<br />work for FOOT District I work he has successfully
<br />removed numerous underground storage tanks, designed
<br />and implemented remedial strategies that mitigated
<br />impact to roadway construction acti,'itics installcd piping
<br />and rcplaced pa,'cment. As project manager he cithcr
<br />wrote or revicwed reports documcnting thc work
<br />whether investigative or remedial in nature. As a
<br />registered professional engineer Mr. 1vamcr confers
<br />with the FDEP or local environmental regulatory agency
<br />as needed to ensure environmcntal activities will not
<br />create future liabilities for the District at a later date. Mr.
<br />Kramcr's practical approach to soh'ing complcx
<br />cnvironmental impacts to road,vay constmction rcduces
<br />costs, while providing solutions.

<br />Project Manager/Engineer; FDOT District VII:
<br />r.1ost of the work pcrformed by r.1r. Ivamer in this
<br />District was in a high population density area with
<br />residcntial ncighborhoods nearby the impacted arca.
<br />This fact created ne\v challenges associated \vith
<br />formulating and implementing a remedial strategy. [n
<br />addition to standard dewatering and impacted soil
<br />exca,'ation, r.1r. Ivamer employed dircctional drilling,
<br />wastc solidification and disposal, and rcmedial dcsign
<br />based on groundwater modcling of the contractor
<br />dewatering systcm to achie,'e the District's goals. r.1r.
<br />Kramer also performed regulatory coordination of thc
<br />cnvironmental aspects of the Districts road\vay work. [n
<br />addition, r.[r. Kramer wrote and/ or revie\ved all reports
<br />and documentation regarding site illYestigati,'e and
<br />remedial acti,.ities, which was forwarded to the FDEP
<br />and local county environmental regulatory programs
<br />when appropriate.

<br />Project Engineer; Morris Road Landfill,
<br />Jacksonville: ~1r. lvamer provided engineering
<br />support for the construction of a groundwater
<br />remediation system. The remedial system included
<br />groundwater recovery wells, controls, water treatment
<br />system, connection to sanitary pipe for discharge, as well
<br />as detcntion pone\. This project required considerable
<br />planning and engineering due to the site topography,
<br />proximity of residential development and length of
<br />piping. During construction of the remedial system Mr.
<br />1vamcr interfaced with local, state and client
<br />representatives to permit the proposed construction and
<br />maintain good lines of communication.
