As a Project t--.[anager he was responsible for <br />the preliminary engineering and routing of a 30 mile <br />railroad to supply coal to B.B.S.E.S. The project <br />included interface with consultants for permitting land <br />sU1Teying and R.O.\". acquisition and client interface. <br />He facilitated the de\"elopment of cost estimates with <br />cJuantity de\'elopment of the proposed railroad. <br /> <br />. Project t--. [anager duties included a multidiscipline <br />design coordinating corporate engineering resources <br />in order to complete the engineering design including; <br />hydraulic analysis, drainage and culvert design, <br />highway design and relocation, right-of-way <br />requirements and acquisition, public information <br />meetings, railroad operations evaluations, railroad <br />design, bridge design and coal unloading structure <br />design. Duties also included bid package creation of <br />contract dra\vings and specifications, pre-bid <br />conference, bid review and analysis, procurement <br />services and construction management support. <br /> <br />Project Engineer, Silver Line Vehicle Maintenance <br />Facility, Massachusetts Bay Transportation <br />Authority, Boston, MA, 04/2001- 09/2005. As a <br />Project Engineer, was responsible for the design and <br />engineering of the Silver line maintenance facility. The <br />maintenance facility was developed to maintain and store <br />76 60-foot articulated buses. The facility will service <br /> <br />SHAW ENVIRONMENTAL, INC. <br /> <br />06C122006T <br /> <br />dual mode (diesel and electric) and Compressed Natural <br />Gas (CNG) buses. The construction schedule for the <br />maintenance facility was compressed due to vehicle <br />delivery. [n order to minimize the construction duration <br />the project was let in two contracts; one for site, utility <br />and roadwork and the second for the remainder of the <br />facility and equipment procurement. <br /> <br />Project Engineer, Yucca Mountain Project Railway <br />System, Yucca Mountain, Yucca Mountain, 04/2000 <br />- 06/2000. As a Project Engineer he was responsible <br />for the evaluation and analysis of the Yucca t--.Iountain <br />railway system to document and recommend resolutions <br />for operational and maintenance issues. <br /> <br />Project Engineer, Big Brown Steam Electric <br />Station, TXU Electric Company, Fairfie[d, TX, <br />01/1995 - 04/2001. As a Project Engineer he was <br />responsible for the preliminary engineering and routing <br />of a 30 mile railroad to supply coal to B.B.S.E.S. The <br />project included interface with consultants for <br />permitting land sUlTeying and R.O.\\!. accJuisition and <br />client interface. He facilitated the development of cost <br />estimates with lJuantity de\'elopment of the proposed <br />railroad. <br /> <br />Senior Civil Engineer, Monticello Steam Electric <br />Station, TXU E[ectric Company, Mt. Pleasant, TX, <br />01/1995 - 09/1995. As a Senior Civil Engineer he was <br />responsible for the design and engineering of a I ~()() <br />railroad interchange to supply coal to t--.LS.E.S. He was <br />coordinated field and support engineering and land <br />surveying activities for the condensed project schedule. <br />He was responsible for interfacing with client and <br />railroad engineering staffs for project execution. <br /> <br />Civil Engineer, Hansom Air Force Base, United <br />States Air Force, Lexington, MA, 02/1994 - 01/1995. <br />As a Civil Engineer he was responsible for the design, <br />application and maintenance of a base-wide ,\t--.ljFM- <br />G IS project for the design of various civil engineering <br />projects for base improvements. These duties included <br />the coordination of data input from base information, <br />including geodetic control. <br /> <br />Senior Engineer, Dover, City of Dover, Dover, NH, <br />02/1991- 12/1991.
