RESOLUTION NO. 2016- 2(, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 15-Z-150 TO EXTEND THE TIME PERIOD TO OBTAIN A BUILDING PERMIT BY TDR TOWERS MASTER ASSOCIATION, INC. (THE "APPLICANT") FOR THE PROJECT ENTITLED "TRUMP TOWERS I, II & III PARKING EXTENSION" LOCATED AT 15811, 15901, AND 16001 COLLINS AVENUE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 265-11 (L) OF THE CITY CODE; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY ATTORNEY TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Applicant has requested an extension of time to pull a building permit in accordance with Resolution No. 15-Z-150, adopted on February 19, 2015; and WHEREAS, the Applicant's zoning approval is set to expire on February 19, 2017 and the Applicant has stated good grounds for the extension request; and WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to approve the request for extension and extends the zoning approval issued under Resolution No. 15-Z-150 to February 19, 2018. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA,AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approval of Extension Request. Pursuant to Section 265-11(L) of the City Code, the City Commission hereby approves the request for extension submitted by the Applicant, TDR Towers Master Association, Inc. and extends the zoning approval issued under Resolution No. 15-Z-150 to February 19, 2018. Section 2. Authority of the City Manager and City Attorney. The City Commission provides the City Manager and City Attorney with the authority to do all things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. Section 3. Effective Date.
